The advertising and media industries play an important role in both reflecting the world around them and also driving positive cultural change. With trans issues coming more to the forefront than ever before, we ask ourselves how the communications industry has served those who do not confirm to traditional notions of gender, and what advertisers should be doing to support people of trans identities, both inside our workplace and in the work we create.
Through the use of colour and typography the two main headlines of the campaign say two very different things depending on how you read it. The lily represents the delicate nature of gender identity.
We developed this identity for a campaign in collaboration with Égalité (Publicis Groupe's LGBTQI organisation) and Viva Women in London.
